Description
Iron Oxide Yellow (Pigment Yellow 42, Fe₂O₃·H₂O) is a classic, highstability inorganic color pigment, widely known as the “permanent yellow foundation” of the pigment industry. It features fine particle size — slightly coarser than iron oxide red and iron oxide black, with moderate dispersibility, excellent light fastness, alkali resistance, weather resistance, and excellent fade resistance for longterm outdoor exposure.

Different from easily faded organic yellow pigments, our iron oxide yellow features stable chemical properties, odor-free, low-toxic, strong tinting strength and hiding power. It is insoluble in water and can be evenly dispersed in various solid and liquid substrates. It is the preferred permanent yellow colorant for construction materials, paints, plastics, rubber and special paper industries. Not for food-contact applications unless specially certified grade.

Iron Oxide Yellow 313-1
- Features: Standard medium yellow tone, moderate oil absorption, balanced tinting strength and fluidity, universal and versatile.
- Best Applications: Universal for cement building materials, conventional interior and exterior wall paints, rubber products, daily plastic parts, the most widely used generalgrade model.
Iron Oxide Yellow 313-2
- Features: Slightly bright yellow tone on the basis of 313-1, more uniform particle distribution, better fineness and dispersibility.

Usage Instructions & Operation Tips
- Mixing Principle: Dry mix pigment with base materials (cement, sand, resin powder) evenly first, then add water or solvent to stir, effectively avoid agglomeration and floating color.
- Color Adjustment: Matched with white cement for bright lemon yellow; matched with gray cement for stable earth yellow and beige tone.
- Storage Method: Sealed and dry storage, moisture-proof and dust-proof, slight agglomeration can be crushed and used normally.
- Process Limit: Strictly avoid high-temperature firing above 180°C, not applicable for ceramic glaze and high-temperature enamel cookware production.
